The food supply chain (FSC), being a complex network, faces major issues such as traceability, security, safety and sustainability. Blockchain technology (BLCT) is regarded an innovative that can transform FSC by means of its traceable, irrevocable, tamperproof network. BLCT new technology, little work has been carried out on the domain. purpose study to examine most recent trends, benefits, challenges, application in explore comprehensive adoption BLCT, stating how it helps achieve triple bottom line (TBL) net zero chain. methodology used this article systematic literature review (SLR) comprising 55 papers spanning years 2018 2022. findings state safety, traceability increases performance FSC. It also contributes achieving TBL sustainability which further help zero. Based work’s insight observations, practitioners academics better understand companies implement benefits FSC, could eventually provide path
